If you are alone then go for proprietorship and in this case, you don’t have to register a company or get company GST. Getting GST only would be enough. We prefer proprietorship firm. You can go through following videos and let us know what you want to do.

Regarding IEC it’s really strange as some time custom people ask for it sometimes they don’t. So to remain secure better you go for IEC for next couple of months. We have shared correct notification with you. For IEC you need a current bank account.
