I’m in process of registering my seller account at sellercentral.amazon.com. I have completed all the registration steps like setting my display name, phone verification but I am confused as to why they are asking for my credit card details. It mentions that they will deduct any subscription fees and other dues from the card. Could you please explain about this?
Also, I want to highlight that I have an existing amazon account which I use for buying stuff and its also an associates/affiliate account, kindle publisher account. Now, when I tried to use the same credentials to login into sellercentral.amazon.in, it returned an error saying that I my account is associated with some other region. I had no choice, but to select the US amazon to create the seller account. Will that be a problem?
